Queli, thank you for the wonderful frosted window prize - I asked hubby to make a stand for it, which he did, and it is now being used continually. I added the mini snowflake lights to make it a New Years/winter theme. What a great winter prop, and a fun thing to take pictures through, as well. DD prizes are just the best! And speaking of which, Susie is holding a Snowflake Cocktail, also a DD prize, made by Gwen of OSS. I love this drink and all the other drinks I have from Gwen.
This lovely Christmas gift doll is a 2006 LA Luxe (convention) Susie doll. They did a very nice job on their convention dolls, and I try to buy them when they're not outrageously expensive. For me they're like little treasures that I don't have to fuss with or redress (most of them). I generally have them as they are, in a cabinet, and I just enjoy looking at them without having to do anything with them. Other dolls I want to "play" with, and that's good too. I'm just happy that there are some I don't need to! I have to say that I'm ridiculously happy with this doll - the fantastic outfit, perfectly made, the long, silky auburn hair, with side cut bangs, the lovely face with full red lips (some Susie's have what I call small, mean lips ) I just love her, from head to toe. Hubby likes the Susie's, too, so that makes it extra special.
