I've mostly made my own original set pieces, but once in a while I modify stuff I buy.
This pool table had stubby little legs that I pulled out, it's a kid's toy made for your kitchen table play. I added dowels wrapped in black duct tape as new legs so I could get the right height for my figures. They're duct-taped onto this table in an insane way that I have to photoshop them to make it look presentable. But the table stays up... most of the time. LOL
The table on the very right between the two chairs is a pencil holder turned upside down with a beer coaster taped to the top from Pier One: JATMAN - Claudia & Gerard E07 - 01 by JATMANStories.com, on Flickr
The dresser on the very left and the end table on the very right are from Joann's in the balsa wood section. They came in a raw wood grain with large ugly knobs. I painted them black, removed the knobs and replaced them with metal jewelry beads.
All the table bases to the right with the white polka dots are pencil holders turned upside down with form board wrapped in contact paper tops taped to them. JATMANStories Dioramas Hotel M 07 by JATMANStories.com, on Flickr
The desk/table to the very left are thick balsa dowels painted silver holding up a ceramic white soap dish holder from home goods: JATMAN - FR Rayna Eye Candy 02 by JATMANStories.com, on Flickr
Terrible black spray paint job on my grand piano from Gloria furniture. I try not to take closeup shots if light is reflecting on it. LOL It looks good from afar: JATMANStories Dioramas 0151 by JATMANStories.com, on Flickr
