Barbie: I can't believe it's supposed to snow in Chicago by Friday. Having a fire is perfect this evening.
Dr.Ken: Well, it is almost the middle of November. This is the best time of year, and I'm looking forward to enjoying the holidays. Having a real schedule at the clinic, instead of too many shifts at the hospital.
Barbie: Yes, you have been really busy the last four years.
Midge: It really is perfect outside tonight. The trees are finally starting to turn. Alan: And the leaves are falling, I think there are fires up and down the whole street.
(Later Ryan and Richelle show up)
Ryan: Well, the sale of the house can be a go. We just got back the zoning information from the city. The house can be zoned back to two houses or still be kept as one. The downstairs apartments would still be able to be rentals. That gives lots of options for BMR to do their planned renovations. We stopped and saw Lara, and she said she will have the offer together in two weeks.
Richelle: Looks like the house could be sold by Christmas?
Dr.Ken: Wow, I was looking forward to spending Christmas with all of you here this year.
Barbie: Oh, we still can have Christmas here. You know you are always welcome here, Ken. and I've-uh-we've all missed you.
Dr.Ken: Well the GrandView is only two blocks away, so I'll be around. How long before everyone will have to be out?
Barbie: Well, not until the new year, according to Lara's presentation.
I guess we all have to start looking for new digs? It will be strange to not have everyone together anymore...sigh. Life goes on, I guess.
