Been a while since I worked n a Barbie but was inspired to do something glamorous on the AA curvy body. This is a former Styled By Marnie doll. Her hair has been cut so she could wear the wig I made. She's in a nonremovable court style dress. There is netting a white petticoat, black satin skirt, silk overskirt with god dots, fancy silver and gold trim accented with sequins and bugle beads and lace sleeves and bodice.
The mohair wig is accented with flowers and a bow and she wears a nonremovable rhinestone necklace. Everything is hand stitched-needle and thread- no machine
Years ago I sold dolls at Barbie cons etc under the name Gerald Antony Designs. I enjoy hand sewing so decided to make something since I just don't feel there are enough really glamorous AA or curvy dolls out there.
