She's got a fun story. I retired from my library delivery and handiman job back in 2020.
I found Snowflake's head a few years before that. Yep, just her head.
It was winter. Icy and snowy, and the gravel in the freshly poured and graded parking lot
at that library in Waverly Missouri was frozen pretty hard.
There, mashed down in the gravel, what was left of her remaining eye-paint, peeked up at me.
It was all frosty and dirty. I got a screwdriver from the toolbox and chipped her loose.
I wiped the dirt off her. Shook the hair, and thought, what a waste of time.
She's beyond hope.
Washed and scrubbed, over and over. Never came quite clean, but she's been fun.
I painted my first (and so far, only) eyeballs on her. I got her body at AliExpress.
The clothes are made from some old underwear of my wife's.
The headband is from a 4-yr-old little girl who made a friendship bracelet for me!
It fits much better as a headband, so Snowflake now wears it.
