a child, my dogs were on display in the gallery at our local library, and they even had a wine and cheese party for the opening. It was so exciting and the local news was there.

My fondest memory of that night was how all the attendees were finding their dog's breed among statues, or identifying all of the cartoon character dogs -- Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmations, Scooby Doo, Snoopy, Huckleberry Hound, Underdog, etc.
