Apparently it hardly ever snows in Madrid. We are appreciative that while it’s colder than California, it’s hasn’t been bad and there are still breaks of bright sunshine during the day so it’s not all winter gloom. The Christmas markets are everywhere and we’re looking forward to traditions like the Dec 22 lottery drawing where a chosen kids choirs sing out the winning numbers and the Jan 5 three saints day…
