Over the weekend my boy Jordan was not well so on Monday (no vets at weekends) we take him to the vets. He has had sickness (both ends) but was a little better by Monday BUT he has lost a lot of weight over a few months. I'm not one for over fussing as cats are cats and weight goes up and down but this was quite a lot. He also has enlarged Kidneys that may or may not be an issue. Now a couple of years ago Jordan has cystitis so this might be why they are a little enlarged. So changed him from Felix to a bland food called BLINK. As yet no more sickness from either end. We will take him back to the vet in a couple of weeks and see what if anything we need to do from there. WARNING So that evening Sophie came in from the back garden and said she had found Ike's tail! Ike was my old ginger boy who died a few weeks ago and was buried in my garden. Yes, a fox had tried to dig him up! I'm normally pretty strong but I think with all the stuff going on it tipped me other the edge. I phoned mum in tears and she can round (lucky she only lives around the corner) and with Sophie's help in the dark and a torch they got his frozen body back. We then covered him with slabs and plants and chairs and scented stuff and anything else with any weight top it we could find in the dark. We have buried a lot of cats in the garden and this is the first time anything like this has happened. Maybe the hole was not deep enough as the ground is frozen? So now I have brought a bag of cement and we will building him a mausoleum at the weekend! I'm over the shock now and have a new admiration for Sophie and my mum that they could do this. I did wonder about posting but I needed to 'talk' sorry. No cake with this post
