My 90 year old mum got chased by a policeman today....
Not that much of a big deal really. Her car hit a pothole and a tire blew. She could get no signal on her phone so in the end dialled 999. Nice lady sorted her out and arranged for the car to be fixed (Taken to Kwik Fit). The police turned up as this pothole had taken out three more cars along with mum's and he said they had been called out that morning for three other cars same pothole. Anyway once the wind started to blow in the right direction she managed to phone me.... I was in the bath. Could I come pick her up as she had already been waiting over an hour in the cold for a pick-up truck. She could not wait in her car as it was on a bend. So in my pj's and wet hair I go get her. As she is crossing the road to get in my car I see a cop chasing her. Not sure it was because she was a little old lady in the road or that he just wanted to make sure she was safe and that I knew what was going on?
Anyway she warmed up at my house, I dried my hair the the pick up truck came for the car keys so he could take it to be fixed. She went with him and the girls and I had a good giggle at her getting up into this big truck.
