Even as a kid midge was left in the case and sort of laid to the side while we played with all the other dolls,my era was the mod era, so all the older barbies were at home in the older girls closets and their little sisters would bring them out every once in a while, and I remember playing with a brunette #1 who back in the early 70's had already turned white, but she was minty, and she was greek Barbie for us she was so cool and different, it was the first time I had ever seen one and didn't know that Barbie looked like that in the begining.
