This was my hometown---grew up with granddaughter Nikki, and Chip (played cello) in all the orchestras I was in, who is now CEO of SCJ's..and more..! The building is fabulous---the glass in the tower is actually rows of tubes of glass, lined up and curved around the corners. The new plant west of the city is now produces 75% of its own electricity for all the buildings and production. If you can ever take a tour---of either the Johnson complex or Wingspread (lol, I worked there for special events as a greeter) please do. Racine about 70 miles N of downtown Chicago on the Lake.
