2003 Beat Street Collection, stock # B8239- A cute jacket which unfortunately is made of pleather that looks OK on first inspection but it isn't aging well and care needs to be taken when putting it on a doll to avoid cracking/tearing. I do love the bellbottoms with their burnt-velvet-like dusty mod flowers. The flowers have a fuzzy feel almost like flocking. A suede purse and black platform Mary Janes were also included.

2003 Beat Street Collection, stock # B8241- A whimsical little hippie set with a sparkly lips decal front and center. The jeans skirt has some textured interest with scattered "pulled thread" strips. A nautical purse and black rubbery knee-high boots completed the look.

Not the best picture but the sleeves have an interesting trim of a slit held together with dark pink string cross-stitching ending in a bow:

2003 Beat Street Collection, stock # B8242- This funky FA has a sparkly swirls top trimmed in lovely dusty mauve lace, plus a little denim miniskirt with an attached belt & patchwork trim piece. Bone-colored clip-on boots (with purple molded flowers at the snap-together points) plus a little purse decorated with a fabric flower were the completing touches.

This was a large-ish collection and next week we'll look at a few more FA's from the series.
