Gwenevere, valmaxi, and Dawn warmly welcome you to Doll Divas |

Here's an original shot of the inside of the Hotel showing wall construction.(hinged 1/4"plywood)The columns support the extended second floor. Mattel structures are skimpy in floorspace.
This corner of the salon shows the raised foundation which added 1 1/2" of height to the structure. Dolls could not wear heels and have any up hair with out having to bend their heads.
Hanging fixture is a covered plastic cup with a cluster of mini seed lights inside
Here was a preliminary layout of the furniture I planned on using. The sink set is Mattel, painted turquoise from pink. The chair set I found out was Bratz, which I then painted the fabric turquoise.
Fictionally the salon opened after covid, and I installed *required*clear barrier walls
All the walls and originally fixtures were painted white. The cabinet stickers I left because they were almost realistic.
The nail polish rack is really a photo framed to look like a shelf.
The register counter also has barriers and of course sanitized gowns and towels.
I love taking photos through the windows.
All sanitized and clean for the next day.
The salon can be very busy...oops a mask slipped.
Checking out!
The nail and pedicure station moves around, and also has a clear barrier.
This little Mattel desk painted turquoise is perfect for the nail station.
Pinterest doll hairstyles fill the walls, just like in a real salon.
Another window shot. I can open the side wall to take photos, it's hinged.
Working on a client.
Jacquie taking a break behind the checkout after cleaning.
Thanks for looking. 'How to's' are on my blog, the list is at the end of this post on my ad-free blog:
