Last summer she had rotator cuff surgery and soon after that broke her left wrist. She has recovered from these setbacks but has decided to take a hiatus from making dolls for a while as she has many other interests. She especially loves to cook and has been doing a lot of that. When commenting on whether she will make dolls again, she said she's learned to "never say never."
