This is a tough announcement for me to make, but Sick Mx Track is closed as of Today (8/10/2015). I can't begin to let those that frequented the track, and the awesome kids I was involved with know how tough of a decision this was for me...I have definitely had many sleepless nights over the decision, but right now I have to focus my efforts and time into MGX Unlimited....let me just tell all of you that bash track owners and those that attempt to run a track, YOU HAVE NO CLUE THE EFFORT AND TIME that goes into running a track. I have an absolute new respect for ALL of the track owners, especially in our area...To all the parents, and children that I spent time with, THANK YOU so so much for all the support and I will miss working with the kids at the track more than anything. That was certainly the toughest part of this decision. I believe that everyone should have a mission in life, my mission the last couple years was to help kids stay off drugs and alcohol, and I believe that kids in MX truly stay off the streets and outta trouble because our sport is so awesome. By far, the greatest family sport in the world. I attempted to chase my dream of owning a track and working with kids toward my mission, but it was rough timing, and I also made some mistakes and didn't do enough homework. To the kids, I'm really sorry for not staying around longer. I should have done more homework. I will still be working with a handful of kids on a regular basis, and will be in the Mgx rig every weekend trying to grow that business....Krista and I have made some amazing friends through this process, you know who you are...thank you, and I hope we don't lose touch and I still get to hang out with you all at the races...my hope is that someone that has more resources, takes over the track and makes it better than I ever could, and that kids have a place to ride for a long long time. I also want to thank the owner of the track, Sue, for the opportunity to try and fulfill this crazy dream of mine. Thank you very much!
These pictures with hundreds more, I will keep forever!
See you all at the races...
