I am researching William Ealding/Elding who was a native of Cranbrook,Kent and Maria Russell also a native of Cranbrook Kent who married in Maidstone in 1838, and in the same year emigrated to Australia. William was the son of Joseph Elding and his wife Elizabeth Balcomb/e also natives of Cranbrook, Kent.

Maria Russell was the daughter of Mary Russell and stepdaughter of Stephen Manwaring all natives of Cranbrook, Kent. Mary, Stephen and their children also emigrated to Australia

If anyone can enlighten me any further on any of these people it would be much appreciated. I am a descendant and researching from Australia.
