For 25 years I have used Yahoo mail for all those things you mention. I get a lot of spam because of that. I never block any of the spammers ...that just creates more spam.,, Confirming you're a live one.

Yahoo has an effective spam filter and rarely do any of the spam avoid it and get into my inbox. Each morning and night (or more often) I nuke all spam in the spam folder with one click.
