For years I been DLing lots of sports imgs I use in FB sports groups. And for years here's this is how I deal with that icon... 1. one finger right click on it and small pics of the DL(s) show. 2. two finger right click on each DL pic in turn and popup has link says "remove" and poof, do that for each and then icon you posted goes away.

You another way now? I like that icon so I know DL went through.
