I'm not at all surprise that chromebooks are here to stay, they have a very strong foot hold at all schools except colleges where being able to install certain programs are needed.

All the schools in my area give students a chromebook to use through out the year. They got a stronghold in schools back at the beginning of covid as a way for students to do remote learning and with inability to download malicious malware, I can't see a reason why they would move away from chromebooks, especially with the new AI features they have.

BK, have you ever thought that maybe it's only you complaining about certain features you want to see made easier to control ? if only one person is complaining about something, it's extremely doubtful that they will waste the man hours trying to make those changes for you alone.
