Just passing it along. The final price is $229 because if you bring in an old laptop they give you a $50 discount if you buy a Chromebook Plus. My old Chromebook from 2013 still powered on, but they didn't try it out at all. So it seems a great deal to me for 8gb of ram and 128gb of storage.
I was using an old Chromebox 3 connected to a bigger screen TV, but the beginning of cataracts was starting to blur the reading of texts for me later in the day. I really like the Chromebook and am using it a lot. It has a very nice screen and is much easier on my eyes. Although, honestly, it has an Intel Core i3 processor and I thought it would be much faster than a seven year old Chromebox, but it seems they are about the same. And I miss the F11 key on Windows keyboards. I'm trying to find a workaround for that, but nothing has worked.
