I went to, ON MY MAC, Adblock Plus that Nancy recommended, but I doubt that it will work as well as UBlock did for me in one particular instance.

Once of the streaming TV program sites I use, I pay for the AD version, and when I use the APP directly on our SmartTV, I have to put up with the ADs, depending on the program, can be a PIA, LOL.

But when I watch it through the site on my MAC which is adjacent and connected to that BIG Screen, no ADs. That is probably now gone with AdBlock Plus. I have not taken the time to test it, yet.

The next time, some (@#$%^&*) news event interrupts and ruins my, "The Price Is Right," and I go to the site to watch it, I'll find out, LOL
