As long as your Chromebook is still getting updates and has not yet reached its End Of Life Date.
It is getting al of the security updates it needs from Google to be as safe as any computer on the internet.

Only when it reaches its EOL date and stops getting those updates would you need to do something.
And that SOMETHING .. would be to buy a new Chromebook.
