Here goes the fix I found on a video. Of course I can't say for sure that it works, since I don't use Chrome, but it can't hurt to try it.
Click-on the 3 vertical dots in the upper-right corner of your screen.
Click-on Settings
Scroll-down to Advanced & click-on that.
Scroll-down again to Use Hardware Acceleration
Click-on the blue dot to the right of that.
UHA will then be disabled.
A tab showing Relaunch will appear. Click-on that & your cursor should appear & work again.
