Ross, my first experience with Linux was the Mint version. When my 2nd Windows laptop died a friend burned a CD for me with that on it so I could still use my laptop.

Then when I went shopping for a new laptop I found one online with Ubuntu already installed for me. Was tough to find anything but Windows.

I've always used Firefox as my browser. Have always liked that. Except for the change that was made in updating that with Ubuntu. Now instead of updating FF directly it's done thru a snap. Which you likely know what that is. And it's slow to download & afterwards the FF icon vanishes from my task bar so that I've got to go searching for it in my files &replace it.
