I gave up using Chrome on my MAC, slowed it down to a crawl at times, a known issue with Chrome and MACs (Googling) for some reason, probably sabotage by Apple forcing PPL to use Safari, LOL.

But I am tempted to try it again, having gone up to, MacOS Monterey, that got rid of every issue that computer had, running like brand new, until the PropellerHeads, screw things up again with their bad updates. I had thought my MacMini was on its' last leg, but as I said, like new again, but this is the last MacOs they claim it can take, but we'll see :-)
