The Chromebook Recovery Tool still works on anything that is 88.0. or newer.
I didn't yet have a recovery saved for this new Chromebook 311, so I just made one.
Out of curiosity I wanted to see if the tool would make a back-up for other Chromebooks when you use it on a Chromebook where it works.
So I put an empty Flash Drive into this Chromebook 311 and chose Acer c720, and it downloaded me another copy of a Back-Up OS for that thing.
