I only shut mine down, when there is an update waiting, and it runs like a Swiss Watch :-).

By the way, short of a POWERWASH (Remember to move anything in the DOWNLOAD folder to your Google Drive, to not lose them), you used to be able to just do a "RESET THE BROWSER," but going to ADVANCE SETTINGS, I no longer see that option.
