When Rita passed away I kept her political group going for a couple of years. Every now and then we had some nut come by and post some filth for a few days.

If you have no control of the group as a owner, you are fighting a losing battle.
After a few years of good post from BOTH political sides, one day someone who hated my political views told Boardhost the group was abandoned by the owner.
And they turned us off.

You need to open your own group before that one is turned off. And post the link to your new group in the old group before the few posters you have left lose track of you.
