1st up was the .990 index class (formerly Motorcycle class). The final 3 were Art Shaw, Big Dog and Paul Wilde, with Art red lighting out in the semi setting up the final with Big Dog breaking out by .001 taking it over Pauls -.018 red light.
2nd class was the 1.150 Funny Cars with the semis having 2 cars from Paul, 1 car from Art and one from Todd Marshal, Paul won both semis giving him 1st and 2nd.
3rd class was Super Gas 1.200 index with the semis coming down to Big Dog, Aron Bryant,Art Shaw, and Randy Spiering. With Aron and Big Dog red lighting out in the semis that left Randy to win it over Arts red light.
4th class was the trucks and wagon bracket race on a pro tree. with the final 3 being Cody Bennett Todd Marshal and Paul Wilde, with Paul losing in the semi it was Todd taking the win over Cody by virtue of a better light.
5th class up was brackets that with the extra entries ran till almost midnight with so much close racing we saw races won by such a small margin the computer couldn't give a differenc in ET as it was out to the 4th or 5th decimal. We had a young lady from Las Vegas barely tall enough to clean the track almost go to the finals and a father son team from Hemet almost do a clean sweep. The final 3 were Joe and Cody Bennett and Todd Marshal, with Cody losing in the semis that left it up to Dad (Joe) to take out Todd which he did with Todd being off by .017 on his dial and an .077 light and Joe being off by .018 with a .052 light.WE had a lot of great racing and look forward to next week.
