Former owner and long time manager of Slots-A-Lot raceway on Long island, Kenny Piccola passed away last week. While Kenny was known primarily in the wing car and retro car circuits, he was also a strong supporter of slot car drag racing. He kept and maintained a great 1/4 mile drag track and drag program at Slots-A-Lot. More importantly, he was a real good guy always willing to help you with anything. He recently sold the track and moved to Virginia but would always talk like he wanted to bring everyone with him. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. He was a pillar in the NYC/Long Island hobby community, gone from us way too soon.
