Definitely should have had him send the money first. When I first met Mike at TR Motorplex he did not strike me as an individual that would do something like this. Initially we had agreed on me sending him one and dependent on if it worked out for his build he would either send the chassis back or money. Ultimately it worked out and he wanted 2 more. I sent them out and asked that he send the money to me for all 3 plus the extra pieces in the same conversation. I never thought for a second that this guy would rip me off at that time. Ever since it has been run around. Even now I still get the lip service about how I am going to get paid.

No doubt there are opportunists in this hobby. The only people I have sent chassis to without getting money up front are Chris Cadle and Terry Crossley at Flashpoint. Chris runs my chassis and promotes them. He has been on board with the idea from day one and wins with them. Terry likes them as well because they complement his custom builds and he listed them on his site.

I have no regrets throwing Mike under the bus on this. You screw people over and you had better be prepared for the consequences. Going to be tough for Mike to run at any track without this following him around. I'm confident that there several people who have read the initial post who know him.

I have no doubt Mike will try to save face with some sort of BS about this. He is a creative liar.
