As many of you know I have a lot of cars that I take to the track to race with me. I lend cars out,(many a time I have been beat with my own cars) I give cars to people, I give model kits to people and am pretty generous when it comes to my stuff and giving of myself. I have had those lent out cars come back broken and never said a word, just fixed them. I have had stuff come up missing before (a couple winner plaques taken out of my box,I guess they felt they deserved them more than me, beadlocks, side exhaust kits with the surround flanges, and a set of rear wheels all missing at the same time) That is just disappointing. Sometime after my last pass at the last race and leaving the facilities, one of my cars disappeared out of one of my boxes. I am hoping it is someone just wanting to play a poor practical joke that truly is not funny. But the possibility exists that it was just stolen as the other stuff was. It really, completely changes my perspective on the people I race with and really sours me to the hobby. After my heart sank seeing it missing, I have been really considering just selling all and being done with it, I am that disgusted. If you have it I would like it returned, no questions asked and you will always remain anonymous (though not trusted again). If you choose not to return it, please everyone be on the look out for a Hess GMC motorhome that is front wheel drive. It is quite distinctive and I am positive is one of a kind. Sorry for the rant, it has been a sad couple weeks with the death of two slot car friends, and now the loss of pretty expensive, one of a kind car. I guess who ever has it doesn't mind other people going into their box and taking what ever they please. If you don't want someone messing with your box or cars, why in the world would you EVER mess with someone elses?
