gun dogs for sale Posted by paul garrett on July 19, 2016, 11:27 am I have several setters for sale, 2-5 years old, that will make great gun dogs this fall, and would make amateur horse back trial dogs. One might run aa. One natural point, back retrieve, make a great foot trial dog, all will be worked in Montana this summer. $750-1800, registered, guaranteed and will show on birds. All have been handled on horseback, birds killed for them, current on shots and worming. 720-238-2510. leaving for montana this week, Sidney area, will be at Circle trials.

The puppy I advertised would make STR dog, if you don't mind a little range on them. He is about a 200 yard dog right now, bends easily to the whistle and wants to please. Looks nice of the few flash points I have seen him make. See my ad on this site. The other dog is 4 years old, white and orange, about 45 pounds. He is a snappy, stylish dog, good nose, easy handle, and natural retriever. He needs to be force broke to be 100% reliable. Backs on sight or command. Needs to be tuned up for trials. I'll sell him for 1200 before I put any more work in him, $1800 when I get done in MOntana, he will be broke when I come back. He is a good friendly dog that likes people and can win in a NSTRA environment. Doesn't have enough range for an open horseback dog, that's why he is for sale. I like this dog, I just wish he was wider. I have other dogs that would work in a NSTRA environment, give me a call to discuss. 720-238-2510/406-480-7547. I have a friend who might be heading that way, I'll check. The Tex puppy would work for you if you want a started puppy. The Buddy dog will work for you if you want a classy walking gun dog. Both are nice classy dogs that are friendly and easy to handle. Call me at 406-478-7061 to discuss next week. I'm heading for my training grounds in Montana today.
