Setter dogs and puppies

I need to cut back some so I can concentrate on some trials.
Remus - 4 years old, w/o, bred See Johnny Run, Barkers Blue Jet, Cypress Creek Rock, and CCDex. Lightly Marked, 60 pound dog, medium range, nice handle, good long nose, standing birds stanch in sight or out, had some birds shot over him this fall. Smooth gait, faster than he looks, doesn't hit the ground hard for a big dog, good style on point. Remus would make a really nice first field trial dog, or open country shooting dog. He is quiet in the kennel, not a fighter by nature (tho he will stand up for himself), wants to please and be around you. Make a great family/gun dog if you can stand one that gets past 100 yards. Good enough to head a kennel. 4 years old. Current on shots. $800 here.
4 mo Old puppies, Hytest, Bozeann's Rustler, CC Rock, Dam same breeding as above. These should make field trial dogs. Spent the summer in Montana, starting to hunt, bold, friendly puppies, w/o. 2 dog puppies, one female might be available. Should go about 45-50 pounds grown. Whelped 4 July. I am keeping a dog and a b###h, and the dog puppy I picked is the ugliest one of the lot(?), I just can't change my pick. Current shots. $400
Buddy, same breeding as above, 3 years old. Close to medium range, stylish on point and running. Compact, about 45 pounds. Excellent nose, natural bird dog, point back retrieve. Make a really good foot trial dog or gentlemans gun dog. Likes people, friendly, good enough for a stud dog. $1500 firm.
Hoss - 7 years old, w/o lightly marked, 52 pounds, deep chest, good tail running and on point. Medium range. Hytest/Bozeann's Rustler, Commander breeding. 50 pounds, Stylish running and on point, Pointing birds stanch, but not broke to flush and shot, will look dead. Quiet in the kennel, not a bad fighter, but will stick up for himself if put upon. LIkes people. I bought him for a stud dog because I liked his breeding. Sire of the puppies above. This is a nice dog you can buy cheap as a gun dog or an amateur trial dog if you want to finish him. He has a good nose and will find his share of birds. $350 here.
I have a b###h (Prin) that is line bred, weighs about 45 or 50 pounds, the tallest setter b###h I've ever seen. Big deep chest. I was going to get rid of her, but she is too good a dog to throw away. She is a tough hard hunting b###h that will not quit. She is an all day dog, and there ain't many of those around. I will do the DNA work to determine her accurate breeding, which is the same generally as Remus and Buddy, so she can be registered at my expense and give her to somebody who will breed her to a good stud dog and give me a dog puppy back. She is 2 years old, will point birds and has a good nose. She is good enough for an amateur trial dog or a class gun dog. She has one cloudy eye, which doesn't bother her. She has a good gait and is stylish on the ground. This is a good b###h, I just don't have room for her any more. Whoever takes her will get the deal of his or her life. Folks who like big setters are crying for b###hes like this. She is tough minded and independent. I have three other b###hes I have to keep or she would not be leaving the kennel. This sounds like bullshit, but it isn't. I don't want her going to somebody who will raise a litter from her and put her down - she deserves better than that. If somebody out there wants a free trial dog, here she is, foot or horseback. She might start to reach on out - she is independent and fast enough. She just needs more exposure. If nobody takes her, I am going to breed her myself (God help me!) I'd sure like to see her bred to that Audubon Americus dog. He has the multiple crosses to Mighty Rex, a Commander bred dog.
All prices etc are at the kennel, located in Strasburg Co, 40 miles east of Denver on I-70. All dogs current on shots, guaranteed as described and free of dysplasia, etc. No cryptorchidism, etc.
Paul Garrett, 720-238-2510. Pics available. email Flintspr@gmail.com I am going to Mississippi in January, can deliver enroute. Good luck all, and remember to keep a leg on either side.
Prin, the big b###h above, is taken. So is the 5 mo old b###h puppy. Have the two dog puppies still, they would make nice amateur dogs, and are hunting now. Farm raised, went to Montana this summer (which did not do much for them, but they were around horses and did get to run a good bit). These are well bred puppies, with Hytest Duke on the top sire line, and Bozann's Rustler on the bottom sire line, as well as See Johnny Run. Desert Rambler, and Barker's Blue Jet. Still 350 till Christmas. If I have to keep them through January, they will be higher. These puppies will make field trial dogs - they are fast and carry good tails. Bob Arkley, my wife says she will sell her puppy for 700. I guarantee she will win, and if she runs too big for your country, I will buy her back if she hasn't been messed up. I don't see many can't miss field trial dogs, this is one. She is a rocket.
Hytest duke female pup that's a rocket. I am interested in seeing pic of that hytest pup. I train and trail dogs and live. In iowa. I see you are coming to mo. In January Thanks Bruce
Send me a private email and I'll send you a pic as soon as I get one. Weatehr here has been lousy lately. I ran this puppy and she is hunting hard at 5 month old. Fast, stylish, and tough.

Bruce, my travel plans have changed. I am not going south this winter. There are enough birds closer that I can get more work done on wild birds. I will send you a pic if you are still interested. This is a real prospect. I just don't need another b###h. 720-238-2510. She is a natural front running puppy.
I can bring one or two of these with me when I go to SLC to deliver another puppy. Two of the puppies above, the little b###h that I had saved, and a dog puppy I call Pat, who has dark orange (what a horse person would call sorrel) head markings and very little ticking, will make field trial dogs, at the very least on the amateur level. They are fast and hunting hard on the farm right now. The little b###h is a can't miss dog and a natural front running dog at that. $350 delivered between Denver and SLC. The big Remus dog is a powerful 60 pound dog and has an exceptional nose. Not a 12 oclock tail, but above level, nice to look at, and has started to back on his own. He shows more style on wild pheasants and huns than on planted birds I hunted him down in Ok in Dec and up in Montana this summer and he found more than his share of birds. Not steady to wing, etc, but staunch out of sight and a strong bird dog and wants to please. Will look dead. He should finish out easy and would make a great first field trial dog or a really good gun dog for just about anybody. This dog will reach on out there if you encourage him to, and he is smooth gaited, quiet in the kennel, and gentle and friendly with people. Would make a good all around family and bird dog for the one dog man. $500 dollars to reduce my kennel. Doc and wife both say I need to ease up a bit. 720-238-2510.
Several folks have asked me for a photo of the b###h puppy above. She developed an abcess on her head, probably from running under a fence. Made a pretty ugly picture. She is cleared up now and ok. I can tell you more about this little dog than photo can. She is well put up, medium length in the coupling, nice clean head and neck, well set on her shoulders, tail short and set medium high on her hips, well sprung ribs and muscled up all over from running loose on the farm. Weighs about 37 pounds. She is one of the fastest puppies I've ever seen, smooth gaited, can foot with any dog, pointer or setter, natural front running and good disposition. I haven't had a chance to shoot over her due to time commitments, but will do so if anybody wants that. I guarantee this puppy will satisfy and will win in horseback trials if given a fair chance or I'll take her back and refund your money. My wife wants to keep her, but I just don't need another b###h right now and can't afford to trial all of them. I am not going to be raising many more puppies and she is too good for a brood b###h any how. She isn't 350 any more, but I'll sell her for 750 and deliver her to eastern Ks included. That's cheaper than most 7 week old puppies. She is Hytest bred on top and See Johnny Run/Bozeann's Rustler on the bottom. She is lightly marked w/o on her head with very light ticking. I need a little trialing money. If nobody wants this deal, you'll have to beat her later, because if I keep her I will have to trial her. Of course, if somebody buys her, I'll have to beat her, and I'm not sure I can. 720-238-2510.
Hoss is available and has thrown some nice looking puppies (the litter ad here. They are going t make field trial dogs.) One dog puppy available - he was my original pick, but I have gone another way. He will win if given a chance. Not a big dog, about 40 pounds, but stylish and quick moving, starting to point. Might run all age. $500, will deliver to Circle, Mt.
Prin (b###h) sold.
Buck, 17 hand walking horse gelding, about 15 years old. Buckskin, well broke, All shots, new shoes, wormed, coggins guaranteed. I will bring him to Circle Mt, $2800. Can work dogs on him, but not broke to ground tie. Loads and hauls good, gentle enough for almost any rider, likes women especially. Good turn of speed, can run down a dog if you have to.
I had several folks inquire about a b###h puppy out of the litter in this ad. My kennel manager has nixed a sale, says we are keeping her. This breeding was a nick, and I ain't seen many of them lately. The three dog puppies I have left are all competitive and starting to point birds on their own. The little b###h is pointing game birds stanch. Montana this summer will tell the tale.
