Sept. 18-20 Newlands Valley meet

Posted by Fergus on September 2, 2026, 3:31 pm

I don't see any messages about this either here or on WA - if it is still on then Steph and I would like to go.
I DO see some chat on WA wondering if there is an October meet. I do not see anything for October on the website, though.

We (Ian, Ilona and me) are contemplating going but Ian teaches on Saturday morning and there is also a rival attraction of a Peak Paddlers trip to Windermere

Looks like 7 so far (plus 3 maybe). Any thoughts/preferences for Saturday's meal? we were thinking of a curry but are open to any other suggestions.

We're not fond of sweet potato or butternut squash so will be bringing a roasted veg curry for 5-6.
