Food for Langdale meet, 18th April

We will be following a Greek theme for the Saturday night. I will make a veggie moussaka for a main course. I will also bring homemade hummus for mezze starter.
We need volunteers for Greek olives and other starter bits and bobs, a lamb moussaka and a Greek salad. Also puddings please. Please add your message here if you can volunteer your culinary skills and contributions!

Hi .I had to look up Greek pudding.pastry cream custard,honey . wow.
If I can find custard tarts I will bring some .not the same I know.

Just had a look at the egg custard pies .not so sure now! Mr Kipling apple pies or ideas welcome

I can do a Greek lamb Tava for about 9. Not moussaka but very good!

How about baked bananas with honey and Greek yoghurt? Nice and easy. Good with blackberry fool. I will buy the ingredients when I go shopping if that would help @alison cowley

Maybe for starters. I've never made on before but I'm assured it's dead easy!!!
It's either that or a tub of yoghurt

We will bring stuffed peppers for eight people.
We will also be sleeping in the hut.

Hi Anthea.
Will share pudding .similar idea but with Figs, honey and roasted almonds. I will buy for x9 people .
