Clwt y Bell hut Deiniolen 6 March

Next hut met is Clwt y Bell at Deiniolen, not far from Ty Powdr, which admittedly is easier to pronounce. There is a multifuel stove although the weather may be a bit warmer then. Usual attractions of the Llanberis area, climbing, biking and so forth.
We have the whole hut so so great restrictions on numbers- all welcome

I can do a veggie chilli. An idea of how many are vegetarian would be helpful

That’s great Sue. In that case, I’ll make a chilli con carne. I think you might be the only veggie but many of us love the option of veggie food so maybe a veggie chilli for 4 or 5 people or so and I will make a meaty one for 5 or 6.
I’ll bring rice for everyone.

Oops … just seen Derek’s message above … spoken to him so we don’t have a chilli mountain! We’ve agreed that I’ll make the meat chilli and bring rice. Sue will make the veggie one.

Shall we bring tortilla chips, salsa and guacamole for Sat?
On Friday there was an offer of risotto that we would like to take up - is there anything we can bring for Friday?

Drive through Deiniolen village, pass a church on left, turn left then turn right at a crossroads. I will try to remember to bring a spare bag of coal. Reccommended pub Y Glyntrog at Llanrug but its a drive. Easy walk down to Llanberis, harder walk back.
