I have asked MAM hut sec if we can have more places and we have 10 places on a firm booking, meaning Buxton MC guarantees payment and there are another 7 places currently unbooked, meaning we can either have a firm booking (and pay) or take a chance nobody else takes it first.
So the deal is I will book a place for up to 17 members who are willing to guarantee payment. Cancellation not acceptable. Everybody else gets a chance place, if there are places still free after firm bookings from us or anybody else.

Firm bookings have been received from Derek, Wendy, Karl and me. 4 to date.
Robert, Isaac, Hannah, Anthea, Joy, Andy B, Moya, Fergus, Cameron, Dave n Rob, Paul Smith and Sue Lewis can have a place if nobody else takes it first but are free to cancel for any or no reason. Total 13.
As only 10 places are booked at present, anybody wanting to be sure they have a place simply has to guarantee payment. Fair?
Leniency will only be offered to those cancelling because they are in a hospital bed ( Karl, November meet)

Bernie and Michelle can stay in their van (parking space not guaranteed) make a firm booking or come on spec as they wish. Van dwellers dont need bunks.

Hannah and I are happy to guarantee payment. Also I MAY be an MAM member by then so could always book in as a member + guest to free up space

Cameron and I definitely want to come if there is still space -I count 9 definites so far. We will pay even if we have to drop out (which is very unlikely).

Apparantly there is a free carpark somewhere near the pier and a pay carpark

There is now 16 wanting to go.
Bernie and Michelle are in a van and I think that as he/they are in Fell n Rock then they can book in as reciprocol members ?
That could leave us with having to book 14 places.

Hi All,
if you want to be involved in a communal meal please let us know and if any dietry requirements.
Pastas, salad, breads and olives etc is our plan.
We are giving Joy a lift and should be up there earlyish on the Friday evening

Following from Karl's rather cryptic message, there do seem to be 2 separate menus proposed above. The majority seem to be going with Italian but there is also a chilli faction...This is not necessarily a problem - choice is good! - just wanted to point it out! Cameron and I will continue on the Italian theme as I proposed earlier (garlic bread and salad).

Pasta bake with Nduja meatballs... 4/6
Salad n bread
Veg chilli and rice...6
Spagetti Bolognaise...4?

We probably just need extras like olives,
Tortillas etc

And if Paul wants pasta a small pasta/pesto/veg dish.

Puddings welcome ?

Moya not feeling up to the meet after all, I’ve paid for her knowing the risk, but if anyone wants to take her place and pay me, that would be nice.
Is anyone doing desserts? Not my forte but I could do something but not for everyone

I can join the meal and can bring a decent size tin for bread and butter pudding. We don’t seem to have a sooup . I could follow the Italian them in its present format and bring Cullen Skink maybe? Loads of Italians living in Scotland.

I could buy Moyà’s place off Andy if that suits

Yes please, it would be good if you took Moya’s place. I’m afraid that my chances of attending are no more than 50%, my back and hips have seized up, making walking and sleeping quite challenging
