Eating at Mill Cottage.

I have suggested the vegetarians and meat eaters prepare their respective meals separately. Dell and Les have offered to prepare the first meal for the veggies. I will do the second veggie meal and any other as/if required.
Suggestions for menus please.

How many Vegetarians are there? Darryl has cooked a nut roast/ frozen , so could we be second or third night.
Do people like Brussels? Otherwise we can bring carrot. We are staying in Ayr prior to coming to Mill Cottage .

5 veggies not counting you Alison. I only like M&S chocolate sprouts.

Our veggie meal on the first night will be a chick pea and veg tagine with couscous, probably with an apple pie and custard for pudding. Yes we like sprouts.... this IS Les we’re talking about!! 🤣 but I like them too.👍👍

I love sprouts. I’ll do a veggie when required. Not sure what yet.

We'll make a meat pasta for the carnivores. Any idea how many there are? I make it 8.

Remember to keep your shopping receipts so the two groups can balance up their food expenditures at the end of the week. It would be terrible if one person had to foot the bill for all that caviar and champagne! 🤣

I have a pile of kindling two ft high, so I will bring some of that. Don't get it confused with nut roast- similar appearance but it tastes quite different. I will bring either pork in cider or a beef stew for 6 Any preference please let me know

Who's actually going on this trip? I can see Del & Les, Steve, Kathy, Rob & Dave, Alison & Darryl, Adrian and me . That's ten. Who else? Shall I set up a WhatsApp group for the trip to aid communication?
We can get rid of it afterwards.
Also, if there are only 5 veggies why is everyone suggesting veggy meals?

We'll be able to come and dig each other out of snowdrifts!

Barbara and I are making fisherman's pie for 8 and rice pudding with plum compote for dessert for one evening
