Pub Alert!
The Cheese called last orders at 9-30 so Brid and Dick didn't get served. Landlady said it was due to covid restrictions and things would change when the restrictions changed. However aforesaid restrictions seemed not to apply to the Swan opposite, nor the Grouse at Froggatt last tuesday, nor the Old Hall at Hope but did apply in the Sun........
Basically pubs seem to be doing their own thing and blaming Our Great Leader and his covid restrictions. Boris has many faults but shutting the pubs early isn't one of them.
It does mean that we need to check pub closing times every Tuesday though
