While my money is on "The snake will at most swallow his head", it will be interesting to see how this works out. I'm at a convention and won't be able to watch the thing until I get home, so I will rely on the reports of our hopefully more Eastern comrades to tell me whether the guy got eaten until then. 83

Funny enough, that guy's behavior is my fav type of prey, kind of willing, and yet, when it comes to the reality of things, it wants back out because the true experience is far too intense for what he imagined.

as i told before it just was a big yell about nothing! was there ever some other on discovery?
they always tell worong facts to get people interested and fascinated but never show the things that would make it really worth to watch. can remember a report of a giant snake in indoesia were one of the major facts was her feeding habbits and what have they shown? 3 ####ing seconds of the prey sitting in the snakes cage! thank you discovery for being the most sucking tv station in documentary!

They did exactly what I said (not here, but on various FA journals and the like) they would do: They chickened out and ran a lame-ass computer simulation instead.

What a rip off he didn't even come close to being consumed. You want to get eaten feed the prey a small animal then grab the animal while it is being swallowed l. That's how you get eaten

It established that under certain circumstances an anaconda would indeed try to attack, constrict, and swallow a human. We already knew this, of course, but if they had found a notably larger snake and changed a few other things it could have worked. For one thing, they should have had him play dead and tied a small prey animal to his head. The snake might have constricted him less aggressively then.
