[OT] Question regarding OT posts.

Alright, so that's two posts about celebrities dying.

I'm going to sound like a jerk, but is this -really- the place for it? A tiny, niche community with internet access who have -thousands- of other ways of finding this information.

Not saying it's not important news, goodness knows I was heartbroken by Robin Williams' passing.

Just saying this is a very specific board for a very specific thing. Being grown adults, I'm sure we all understand how "news" works and where to find it, yeah?

We're here for vore, not sadness. Right?

While I understand people's tendancy to use this board as a community forum to share our feelings etc, I tend to agree with Surge.
For celebrities dying, we have Facebook.
For vore we have the Big Gulp board.

This board is already quite slow paced, so, if we could keep the posts to what we are looking for, the page would be of better quality in general with each post making us eager to read the one below...

On the other side, I'm not the best to say such things, because I use the board for OT topics, such as convention connections and such...

So, pickles!

Yeah but according to Sharky, so was Robyn's death. Who are we to decide where to draw the line?

Or do we? Vore is not even a dictionnary word to begin with. We all have our own version of it.

Even if you and me seem to share similar views on what should be or not be vore on this board, your poll did not collect over 50% of votes in "you have a point".

We can't always make things the way we want, but we can still appreciate them the way they are, especially now we got rid of one of the main spammers of this board.

You have to understand that my post on Robin Williams was on topic. (In the furry world) He did a number of animations that are furry related. If you have ever been to a furcon you might have noticed we get voice over artist all the time. I will always consider Robin Williams a furry, and I will miss him dearly
