Big Gulp party 2012 Saturday the 16th Omni

Hi everybody,

Just thought I'd drop by to let you know I'm up for hosting a big gulp vore party this year at AC since Snake won't attend and thus, we are not having any suite for it.

I'm offering my room for Saturday evening, the 16th (room number will be put on the con board early Friday), starting at 5pm. There shall be drinks and chips, the food would be ordered as a group. Feel free to also participate with your own drinks or and chips.

I will be in the Omni, 5 minutes walk down the street. As I anticipate my room not being big enough to contain a whole party, I'd be very happy if anybody rooming at the Omni could offer to help with an overflow room to share the crowd.

What do you guys think? Suggestions? Anybody else would like to host the party maybe? I'm not keeping it to myself by all means. If you got a bigger room than mine or are simply interested in hosting it yourself, go on ahead and let me know.

Btw, to those who don't know about it, what's a BG party? It is a chance for the vores attending AC to meet up together and hang, draw, play games and eat eachot.. *coughs* TOGETHER!!

I don't have a room number yet. Shall have that by tomorrow, as I'm leaving mid-afternoon today.

Dale's rules for a good convention party:
No messy foods. (So if it gets dropped and ground into the carpet, it can be vacuumed up easily)
Have trash bags. hanging open around the room for easy disposal of trash.
No movies/TV/computer games. (The point of the party is for people to actually get to know each other and have fun, not to sit and watch the boob tube.)
Plenty to drink, diet and sugared, caffinated and not. Alcohol, probably not a good idea. Don't forget the ice.
Wrap a washcloth over the lockbar to keep the door open. Put a sign on the door saying welcome and come it. when the party is over, put a sign on the door saying, sorry you missed the party.
No food that you have to worry about spoilage sitting out at room temperature for several hours.
Don't forget to have fun.
Tip the maid well for the extra mess the following morning.

I usually am not against alcohol, but will watch that people keep it to a moderate level.
As for gaming, I like to bring some board game, when people are too shy to talk with each other, a good board game often allows to break the ice and leaves good memories.

It is not my first BG vore party at AC. To me, the main issue I see here is the lack of space and how the room will end up being hot in spite of the Air conditioned...
I'll post a last call about room sharing for the BG party as I think it's really too bad nobody volunteers to offer an overflow room. I'd have expected a little more from the gang.

Lets see how it will go.

The reason I don't serve alcohol are several.
A: I don't consume the stuff myself.
B: Expensive
C: Server liability laws
D: Hotel corkage fees (see B)
E: gotta monitor it for drunks and underaged.

If the room gets crowded, it happens. See if you can open an window to get a cross breeze.

Almost forgot. Put your own stuff away, especially the valuables and the pron. *grins* Bring the pron out for the after-party.

*laughs* sounds good, and I'll have to double check the laws then, because I thought you were allowed to have alcohol in your room.
Of course I check for IDs for those who want alcohol...

Anyway, I'm off to work and will probably get to AC in the middle of the night/morning tomorrow.

Going to be at AC and planning on making at least part of this get together around stuff on my schedule. Look forward to seeing everyone again!
