Evidently there are people here who haven't bothered to read the whol thread. Yes, If a large python were 'tricked' to swallow a human feet first, by offering it familiar prey first, it is more likely it could swallow some adult humans whole, though because the prey is so large, the long teeth would repeatedly dig into the body causing indescribable pain and massive blood loss. If you are going to fantasize being swallowed by a snake, imagine you are only about eight inches high and confronted by a big non-constrictor like an Indigo snake. They always swallow their prey alive, and by head or tail depending on how they grab it. Because the prey is small, the teeth woldn't dig in, and might not pierce the prey at all. The reality of the situation is that NO known living snake would swallow a live person without terrible, probable fatal damage from the teeth before being swallowed. You would also never reach the stomach before suffocating because the swallowing process would be so slow with preay as large as an adult human. To take all the teeth out of a snake would be such a major operation it would probably kill it. It certainly would refuse to eat after that. All in all its a dumb fantasy. If a human wanted to be swallowed alive by any known animal alive today, it would probably be a Sperm Whale, as as suck in their prey without biting it, and have swallowed prey as large as 12 foot long sharks.
