Who could blame him?
If we just fed our dead pets and abandoned animals to pet snakes(Or even other pets) instead of burying and burning them, a lot of living animals(bunnies rats etc) wouldn't have to die to feed them.


Of course, the same could be said for humans after they die, but I don't think that'll ever become morally acceptable. (Although the same advantages apply here)
