To Carter and The Spruill Family,With Sympathy and Condolences, Carter, I was truly saddened to hear of your passing. We have all heard the saying over and over that "life is much too short" and indeed it truly is.
Carter, the first time that I met you was in the 7th Grade at Willowbrook Jr. High School. You and many other student classmates had to leave Willowbrook after the 8th Grade when some of the classrooms burned down from a fire over the summer before the 9th grade began. (After the fire some of the Willowbrook students went to either Vanguard Jr. High School or Bunche Jr. High School. But needless to say most of us saw each other again and were reunited later at Centennial High School in the 10th Grade). Carter, though you may be gone and have left this earthly world; we your Classmates love you and we will carry your memory with us always and we will always be grateful for the fun and wonderful moments that we shared with you (on the C.H.S. "Big Ten" campus, and also at our various Class of 1975 and Joint Class Reunions). You will truly be missed.
