Re: BEREAVEMENT NOTICE: KENNETH BOWMAN C/O '75!!!
To Kenneth & The Bowman Family, With Sympathy and Condolences, I was very sad to hear of My Dear Classmate & Friend Kenneth's passing. Kenneth, if you are reading this I didn't find out right away of your sudden passing on the Easter Sunday Holiday (April 20th); I didn't find out about Kenneth's passing right away because my brother Searcy Jerome Macon c/o '74 whom Kenneth knew very well; had also suddenly passed away (3) three days after Kenneth passed away. My brother and your friend passed away after you on Wednesday, (April 23rd). Kenneth I hope that both you and my brother saw each other in heaven. Kenneth I will miss your big wide smile, your big hugs and your wonderful personality. I will miss seeing you everytime I would come into the Compton Post Office to get stamps and money orders. You would always come from behind the glass into the Lobby to greet me with a big hug and then you would proceed to tell me of so many of our Classmates and Centennial High Alumni that came to the Post Office during and throughout the week. Thank You Kenneth for being so... kind to my Mom every time she came into the Post Office to get stamps and money orders. You would always call her "The Money Order Queen" because you said that she spent the most $money$ on money orders that you had every saw from your customers. Kenneth Mom loved you as well and I hope that you knew that. Kenneth, we your Classmates sincerely loved you. Kenneth, you may be gone from our sight (but) you'll never be gone from our hearts. You will be forever missed. R.I.P. My Dear Classmate and Friend.
Love Always Your Classmate and Friend Phoebe
