Need to apologies for not remembering. Thank you so much for reminding me. Man….had a lot of fires to put out and some hiring to do. I hadn’t hired anyone in over 20 years and it’s a bear. please people if you are looking for a job please, please DO NOT submit a 5 page resume. Case in Point. Interview someone from Washington D.C. with a 5 page resume. Impeccable resume. Not gonna lie. Sista girl gave me a headache for 2 days. She provided me with references and was telling me how awesome she was. Did not let me get a word in at all. Then she started telling me how to run thangs. True story. So I asked her did she do her homework before the interview? So after hearing her grandized for 30 minutes, I said to her, I see that you work for Chuck Shummer and Representative Luna in Texas 3rd District and so on and so forth, why didnt either of them give you a recommendation? And I said, since you said they were so great why did YOU leave? Didnt get a clear answer. Then she told me, didnt ask me, if i was going to do a second round with her, and in the back of my mind Im girl please!!!! Couldn’t get the girl off the phone. Finally I had to tell her that I was hiring locally for this position. She must had call 3-4 times during the week. Wouldn’t take no for an answer. Initially I asked my Ex to interview my potential candidates because when we had our Industrial business he did all the hiring, plus now I am busy in other areas. Thank Goodness I did it myself, she would had wrapped rings around dude. I told him….girlfriend would had saw you coming from a mile. Lol!
