I concur! There are two of our classmates for the Big Ten 75 I truly admire and respect for their service till today. My dear friends Michael Rodriguez and Lorenzo Morgan. Reflecting back in or senior year I can remember Michael and I was sitting together in Ms Glatts classroom discussing where we wanted our life to take us. He said to me …Jerlilia I’m going into the military. That’s all I want to do. When he told me that I had so much admiration for him, because that was all he wanted to do, serve his country. My hat went off to him.

In our English class, different day, somber Day, We were all were sitting around discussing what lied ahead for us. We were all scared because we didn't know what to expect going forward. I told of my plans, Ingrid told of her plans and some other folks joined in. In a very calm and articulate manner, Lorenzo said to us all, Im going into the Air Force. I just froze. Im like for real. I said my bother joined the Air Force, and he loved it and I’m sure you will do well too. Hearing that from my BFF, made me feel truly proud, till today.

With this being said, thanks to my two BFF for your services, and thanks to all the Big Ten Alumni’s that served our country. Truth be told.
