Hello APACHE Classmates' and Alumni, Myra, please do not hesitate to call upon us your Classmates' if you need our help for anything (we are just a phone call away).. MYRA, WE YOUR CLASSMATES "ALL LOVE YOU DEARLY"!!
I received an e-mail with the sad news that our Class of '75 Classmate Myra Reed's sister Centennial Alumnus Gloria Reed c/o '62 recently passed away.
Myra was the sole caretaker of her Sister prior to her passing.
Most of you may be familiar with the Reed Family and know Myra Reed c/o '75. Myra regularly attends our many Class Reunions and events. You may also know her siblings Jerry Reed, John Reed, Geraldine Reed, Leila Reed, William Reed (deceased) and Gloria Reed (now recently deceased).
Last Friday, August 18 was the Viewing of Gloria Reed at Harrison Ross Mortuary (Compton, CA.) and last Saturday, August 19 was the Memorial/Funeral Service for Myra's sister Gloria at Curry Temple C.M.E. Church (Compton, CA.).
To Myra and the Reed Family,
I would like to express my sincere and heartfelt condolences on the loss of your Beloved Sister Gloria Reed. May your hearts find peace and comfort at this very difficult time. My thoughts and prayers (as well as those from our Class of 1975) go out to you and the Reed Family. Myra, I never met your sister Gloria in person but from what you told me about her it seems as if she was a wonderful sister to you. She was very blessed to have you take care of her during her illness throughout the last days of her life. Myra, may your precious memories of your sister stay with you and sustain you. May she R.I.P.
PRAYER
Lord, we come lifting up Myra Reed & the Reed Family to you. Lord, we ask that You would comfort them as they mourn their loved one. Lord help them to know that at times like this is when their faith is truly tested. Lord, help the Reed family to remember that when life brings sadness, pain and disappointments that it is in those times that You Father God will not let them suffer anymore than what they can bear. Lord, may they put their faith and their trust in You. Lord, we ask that You would take away and ease Myra and the Reed family's pain. Lord, we ask that their beautiful memories of their beloved sister will sustain them. Lord, this prayer we ask in the Sweet and Precious Name of Jesus. Amen
In your time of sorrow
may it ease your pain
to know that others
are thinking of you!!
Psalm 23:4
Even when I walk through the darkest valley,
I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me,
Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me."
Classmates and Alumni: Please keep Myra Reed and the Reed family in your prayers. Thanks!!
Love and Blessings, Phoebe
